Definitely a wolverine, juvenile, no vertical striping on the face. Tracks and the loping movement were dead give aways also.

It’d be cool if you were correct, just looks a bit too grey to me but I’m far from an expert and wasn’t there.

Mule deer is from a buddy. We both had WT tags. We were able to help a local kid take this buck. First mule deer he has shot.
