picitini vs x talley scope mount

I've used Leupold, Tally, and other split rings on all of my rifles since 1967. Never had a problem with any of them. That includes some 20 years of horseback scabbard use.

And, I don't like the looks of a picitini rail on a fanacy bolt action rifle.

Vortex HSLR - he doesn’t mention if it’s the 4-16 or 6-24.

OP - it depends on the scope length as well as your ring height. If the bell contacts the rail, the rai can be cut to accommodate.

I know nothing of that scope other than the Vortex part. Which is enough.
