How much does that camera weigh?

Let's see. With just the camera and the 18-135 lens it runs about 2lbs 10oz. Of course, I was stupid and I took a bunch of other crap like a 55-300 lens, extra batteries, a video camera, a GoPro and some other stuff. I don't know, it might be worth the three pounds to have the camera around to capture some of these images. In case you are wondering, I haven't processed any of the video from the camcorder but here is a time lapse from the GoPro.

It is a very clever trick that someone came up with using a kitchen timer. The timer does one rotation in an hour and I usually take one photo every two seconds. It's a very easy and inexpensive mount that I will always carry with me when I have the GoPro. Here is one of the sites that I got the idea from:

Curious (and being lazy by not looking it up) does the GoPro have a feature to take a picture every 2 seconds or do you have to hit it?
