Absolutely! The calves laid down next to mom and fell asleep while she chewed her cud and slept with one eye always open. We had planned to do some outside work, but we waited and let her rest right there all morning.

I know it is 4 photos on “photo” a day. But kind of need the series. After sleeping on the bank of the Yellowstone for about 3 hours, he woke up and rolled and stretched for a few minutes before swimming across the river.
