Photography- one photo a day

Wow, pretty nice over there! Got some decent peaks and alpine by the looks of it. Wonder what's the story behind the preds, never really naturally there or they got eliminated
The topography and foliage have been very highly varied and expansive...truly very impressive. There have been times we feel that we are driving through Alaska, Colorado, Southern Wisconsin, Hawaii, etc., etc.!!

I don't know the truly accurate answer to your question regarding predation/predators here. Since it isn't a hunting trip for me, I intentionally didn't research the hunting reg's, hunting history, etc.
(I will when I get home (y)).

Cool, that's a good place to live with varied country and ecosystems. I'm in British Columbia and have we got a lot of that! Ocean, temperate rainforest Goat/Blacktail/Rosie, Cascades, dry interior doug fir and ponderosa pine mulie wintering grounds, sagebrush tumbleweed desert, selkirks/purcells/rockies/columbias/north rockies/shulaps etc tons of mountain ranges here, interior rain/wet belts, big plateaus, northern rockies, tundra, so much different looking Alpine, tree/vegetation species, wet-dry you name it.

It's a mountain hunters paradise, just wish they managed Game better. But still some real good hunting, just might have to work a little harder and or smarter in some places. Some real good animals have been getting taken last few years records being broken.

Let me know what you find on NZ and the preds
