My son and his climbing partner (Lane), just got back home the other day from an attempted winter ascent of Denali and one of our local news stations interviewed him yesterday morning. Both the boys have summitted the mountain twice, but never in the winter. They didn’t get too far, but I’m pretty proud of them anyway!

That was a great interview and video footage! The winds at sea-level here have been totally nuts the past few weeks. Good work and judgement by those lads!

Thanks for sharing that. He’s got a good head on his shoulders, and I’m sure that’s why they made it home safely.
