Camping with my best bud. Friends since college in 1986. Through a lot of good and bad together, jobs, layoffs, parents passing, just a lot of life among friends. No matter how far apart we make it a point to get together periodically, and it's always like no time has passed. Now he lives less than 2 hours away, so we old dudes can hang out more often. Our thing is fishing, but he jumped at the chance to go camping and turkey hunting. His first time "camping out" since 1990!

A closer look at the image from yesterday you can make out the wooden structures on the canyon wall from the old flume. I bet they had no fall protection just big stones!
