I would say yes.Many years ago I held a falconry license in California and thought I was pretty good at identifying raptors. Now, fast forward 40 years, here I am in the desert southwest and I can’t identify this hawk. Immature Coopers hawk?? IDK.

Nice photos, I love the color lapse.This is just north of Edisto on a local sea island. Saw four in two mile daylight hike. They were very actively calling just after dark and in the morning. I love how they will answer turkey calls.
