. If I wasn’t looking out into my front yard at several feet of snow right now I could probably give this a like, but given the circumstances, I can’t. On the other hand, our local ski resort has 300”, so I guess it’s not all bad.

I hear you TB!! That's why I've been looking at/sharing photos of past trips to warmer places!

(I'm soooo thankful this time of year for my wood burning stove and our full wood-shed from the work my wife and I put forth this summer!)

Yeah, as much as I love to ski, feeding my family with wild game is more important to me and I can’t help but worry about our undulate population if things continue on like they have been, and it’s not even officially winter yet. I know Kodiak and Prince William Sound have also been getting hit pretty hard, and if this continues, it’s going to have a massive impact on our deer population.

20211216_154723.jpg This was about 7,000 feet on Thursday. Only about 24-30 inches. About another foot fell last night and the closest SNOTEL is showing only 40 inches and 57% of normal snow water equivalent, so we still need more, especially since last winter ended at 60-70 %.
