The water is way down... The record snowfall this year should help some.

Yeah, lowest ever is what I was told. They weren't sure the snowpack would be enough for a recovery, but it'll help.

Side note: I couldn't believe the number of dead birds at water's edge.

One of those "photo out the window moments" on our flight yesterday back home. Taken around 11am when flying over one of the many and massive glaciers/ice fields near Yakutat, Alaska (Wrangell-Saint Elias Wilderness area)...looking eastward towards Canada...
