My little brother has been all over the world since joining the Navy, and I hadn't seen him in about 3 years. We just lucked out when he recently got stationed up at Whidbey Island in Washington, which puts him within easy driving distance of Portland for the next few years. He had some time between moves and got to come down for a little visit. Took advantage of the unseasonably nice weather to chase some birds.

I took the pictures on my phone, and used an app- which I found while looking through the latest issue of Extreme Elk- called snapseed. I just used the app to enhance the pics, using the dramatic button and the hdr button. The lighting in the original pics wasn't the best and I think they turned out alright with the app.
