Does this qualify as some kind of meat pole?! My buddy with an archery bull I shot the night before, a few years back, getting ready to pack it off the mountain.

My buddy walked up the tree from the left side out of the pic and I lifted them up to him, and we got the quarters hung on stubs of broken branches... My bull died in the hole that the root wad left in the ground on the left side of the pic.... that spot was meant to be!

Love the Meat Pole pics. Unfortunately those poles seem to escape my camera (or I have nothing to hang from them) but I did steal a little Rok idea from an old salt I know.

Thanks. No he's not haha. The tree forked and the one fork of it you can see in the pic is on top of another tree that was broke off, they weren't going to fall or break then, everything was really stout. They are actually still the same as of this fall as they are in this pic.

That is awesome. I have always wanted to hunt a lion or bear with hounds out west. I know it would ruin running squirrels and coons in the south for me.
