It’s not even Christmas yet and I’m already ready for spring and summer scouting trips in the mountains.

Caught this owl snacking on an elk carcass. I've never seen or heard of that with owls before of after. It's possible it was snacking on rodents that were snacking on the elk, but who knows. It stood it's ground and wouldn't leave.
