Have been deer and turkey hunting (back in PA) since I could walk. Recently moved to phoenix from Pennsylvania and planning a Colorado elk trip this fall with my dad. Were buying gear now to get ready for the trip, it will be a first western hunt for both of us. Excited is a gross understatement!

Welcome! I was raised a deer hunter and went on my first elk hunt when I was 20, I haven’t looked back since, addicted still to elk hunting 22years later.. I’m still disappointed I didn’t draw NM this year but will head back to my regular Colorado spot.. Eat it up and have fun preparing for your hunt!
