The hypocrisy is so deep at times.
So now the definition of hypocrisy includes not wanting babies murdered in the womb all the while questioning the safety and long term effects of an unproven “vaccine” that didn’t meet the definition of a “vaccine” so they had to change the definition of “vaccine”? You truly can’t be that hollow.

This is the logic we are working against, people. You are now a hypocrite if you don’t want babies killed and you don’t take a vaccine for a virus that has a 99.9% survival rate.

What was the CDC's published stance on mask usage prior to about August of 2020? What was the stance of the entire western medical community on mask usage to prevent respiratory disease of the public since forever? What landmark study, with a standardized protocol, has been published in the last 2 years to completely change these recommendations? Not meta analysis, not retrospective studies, not people coughing on a petri dish with and without masks, and not wearing a mask in the winter and watching all the condensation.

In order for the medical community to completely change their policy or stance it used to require a landmark study proving otherwise. So far, that study doesn't exist.

By what authority are you claiming that we need a landmark study to change a recommendation on best practices? Who made that a rule?

I'm not a doctor, but I don't think I've ever heard that claim before.
I'm talking about death counts. If this was in fact man made, those responsible for the deaths of millions should be held accountable. IMO, it is very comparable.

Sure. We could start with the people who intentionally delayed the federal response, such as the guy who held up supplies saying "it's not our people dying" and then move on to the various grifters who knowingly spread patently false information, right? We don't need to know exactly where it started to prosecute the people who made it worse.

IMO, natural immunity is not recognized because the government has not figured out a way to regulate it or otherwise be involved.
What would you have done about it? Draw titers monthly for those who are claiming to have natural immunity? What happens when their titers are too low to generate a protective response? They'd still need to mask up in public places as well, and business owners would be free, on their own perogative, to refuse to serve the unvaccinated.

Do you have a different idea of what it would mean to recognize post-infection immunity?

If you question authority or the narrative of the authority you are now a “conspiracy theorist”. That’s a new tactic from the left. Name calling. Very productive. Very mature.
Lol....you think it's new!!!

I'm not talking about the federal response. WE GET IT!! You are not a Trumper. That's not what I said, or was even referring to. I was talking about the creation of the virus, period. If I were to be the typical, arrogant internet asshole, I would have said that you should thank trump daddy for streamlining the vax. But that's not what we're talking about.

The CDC has spread false information.

You tend to dance around questions and provide link after link after link to support your argument(s). I purposefully provided links from sources that you commonly cite.

We're all arguing over the wrong thing here. We should have never left the discussion about where and how this virus was created. I do find it interesting that it appeared after Chinese tariffs and protests in Hong Kong.

My experts? The vaccines were not designed to keep people from becoming infected with COVID. People who have been following along know that. If you believe they were, so be it.

Mate, you are wrong in that. Read it on Pfizer’s own website:

For those who don’t want to read, the first bullet point says :
  • Vaccine candidate was found to be more than 90% effective in preventing COVID-19 in participants without evidence of prior SARS-CoV-2 infection in the first interim efficacy analysis

Or from the CEO:

Today is a great day for science and humanity. The first set of results from our Phase 3 COVID-19 vaccine trial provides the initial evidence of our vaccine’s ability to prevent COVID-19,” said Dr. Albert Bourla, Pfizer Chairman and CEO.”

as I remember “prevent” means to “keep people from being infected”.

This was posted November 2020

What were they preventing in 90% of cases if not Covid?

Uh Yeah,
If I say I've already had the Covid (twice), then all this nonsense is over with.
We can all get on with our lives, without being harassed by the vacc natzis.
Natural Immunity is appearing to be better than the "vaccine"/booster the
further we move along. But natural immunity was apparently not figured in,
even though I keep hearing "trust the science!, trust the science!, trust the science! trust the science!" from the same group of people who are confused about what gender they are, and what bathroom to use.
It's appearing more and more these same people missed BY101.
I certainly dont need them making my healthcare decisions for me.

BREAKING NEWS:

1. Many Areas that mandated masks everywhere in public had the highest outbreaks of Covid.

2. Vaccinated people are still catching Covid, dying of Covid, and spreading Covid.

3. The number of employed Healthcare workers has taken a significant drop in the last year, primarily because of vaccine mandates as a condition of employment. That in turn has led to major understaffing at a majority of hospitals in the US.

4. THE VIRUS ORIGINATED IN A LAB that was being funded by our government, directed by Dr Fauci. That lab was researching Gain of Function Bio Technology. That technology was to take a virus that was not compatible to human hosting and make it compatible to human hosting. That technology is only necessary to be used as a bio weapon on human beings.

5. Dr Fauci lied to the public about his funding of said Gain of Function research. Confirmed by the NIH.

...and reconfirmed in April of 2021.

With effectiveness of 90 percent or higher, a small percentage of people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will still get sick and some may be hospitalized or die from COVID-19.

But that changed. Same webpage, just updated.

https:/www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/effectiveness/why-measure-effectiveness/breakthrough-cases.html

"COVID-19 vaccines are effective at preventing infection, serious illness, and death. Most people who get COVID-19 are unvaccinated. However, since vaccines are not 100% effective at preventing infection, some people who are fully vaccinated will still get COVID-19."

An infection of a fully vaccinated person is referred to as a “vaccine breakthrough infection.”
What happened to 90%?

It's like playing cards with my sister's kids; the rules are always changing.

Whats the evidence for post-infection immunity being "better" than the vaccine?

Can you source where Numbers 1, 3, 4, and 5 are confirmed? Where did you learn these facts and how did you assess their accuracy?

Number 2 is true, but leaves out that the unvaccinated are still infected and experiencing higher rates of hospitalization and serious health issues.

Maybe the for profit healthcare system needs to receive some blame here, do you know what ICU bed occupancy was pre pandemic? It’s not like hospitals just build rooms to remain empty so they can loose money, there was an available bed issue before Covid and there will be after, it’s a business decision.

Why no one really talks about this is beyond me. They hold this up to us all the time and it’s a ridiculous argument to make us feel guilty and to get us to “get vaccinated” “wear masks” whatever. It’s not our problem. Our community has roughly a 600 Covid bed capacity (it fluctuates constantly with staffing decisions) for roughly 1M population. The suits have decided how many beds we should have. If the .gov wants to fix this problem they need to make a deal with the suits for more beds.

@Actual_Cryptid thanks for your careful replies. I burnt out and find I have a hard time being nice now, so I have been staying silent rather than being an ass.

@MattB You have more staying power than I do. Respect.

@Newtosavage I feel your frustration. My political positions have held constant, however my friends, family, and the Party I once supported have all changed. My refusal to buy in has left me pretty isolated as I'm still not a liberal (not even by the pre left shift standards of that party). Best I can say is don't waste your power and recognize that sometimes not causing damage is more valuable than action. Though the hard part is discerning when those times are. To quote a good line from a shitty movie "Be nice, until it is time not to be nice."
It’s been too long - your input has been missed. I often have thought of mentioning you and your exhaustive feedback on the IVM studies touted by the various doctors (and as a result, I take the touted efficacy of same with a heavy dose of salt). You were kind enough to weigh in without calling me a name for asking a question.

It may be that my posts are too blunt and/or poorly worded, as I’ve managed to be lumped in with anti-mask and anti-vax “conspiracy theorists” by questioning one aspect of the government’s handling of the pandemic. At the same time I suspect I’ve pissed everyone else off because I pointed out Peter McCullough and a RS member’s statement about the impossibility of getting Covid twice was based on the mischaracterization of a FOIA response that’s being repeated by others, including on Fox.

I should take my own advice from earlier today and take a break.
