Planning to run Peterson 243 SRP/CCI450’s in a new 243AI. Most likely will land on H1000. Any experience with ignition reliability of this combo in cold weather?

Yeah, that’s what I use in my 260AI, was trying to stay away from it so I could differentiate between the two but I’m afraid that’s the right answer.Use alpha .260 SRP and neck it down. Alpha has the .080 flash hole which I have not had any issues with in the cold down to around 0° F
I'm not really sure if the flash hole does make a giant difference, but you could drill the flash hole of the Peterson if you got any hang fires then see if that solves the issue. For hunting loads I have moved to LR just so I don't have the worry in the back of my mind.Yeah, that’s what I use in my 260AI, was trying to stay away from it so I could differentiate between the two but I’m afraid that’s the right answer.
