ive been getting some branch antler bulls on my cams, but i just think this peckerhead looks awesome.

That bull has got some serious genetics. He will be a monster if he lives to be old enough. Have an area here in Wyoming where spikes get huge, and become big old bulls. Find his grandpa!. Big boy for sure.

So 2.5 miles from where this pic was taken this bull walked right up to me. Stood broadside in front of me at 8-10 yards and looked th he other way. I blew the shot. Slightly wounded him. He is okay but damn I'm sick over it. Should have been nit only my first elk but also my first archery kill. What it turned out to be is the last time I shoot primitive arch gear at a live target. I'm buying a compound and next year I won't f up
