Looking to see options on how people are patching their puffy jackets and vest. I should of taken my puffy vest off when working on my truck and my puffy jacket found some Bobwire. 4FF5ADAF-0DF4-40CC-88C0-D1A98C3DF3B0.jpeg6E1A8BCB-7D80-4EB7-A2E7-ED263D467B31.jpeg
the jacket is probably going to get a patch behind it and sewn. But the vest is right in the middle of the down and on the front.

I use Uncle Lou's stealth strips for those repairs, stays on very well. Cut the repair patch in an oval or circular shape so you avoid 90 degree corners. You can also go around the edge with a small bead of silicone if you think it needs it.

Much better than tenacious tape.

I think I have some gortex patches. Zap those blend in well! Tenacious tape blends not bad either.

I've got tenacious tape in 3 spots on my puffy and it's performed flawlessly.

Put a small fabric patch in behind the tear, then glue tear together with liquid stitches. The fabric patch keeps the glue from getting on the down and the glue holds tight, dries clear and is flexible. This has worked really well for me.
