Sorry to hear of Pat McManus passing. I got a lot of laughs from his stories and books.

RIP Patrick.

I laughed a lot as well. One of my favorites was a story where he fell of a cliff but was saved from serious injury when his fall was cushioned at the bottom by a bunch of big rocks. And his dog Strange, who’s only two jobs were to guard the chickens and keep burglars out of the yard, but he never could manage to keep them straight.
