Paratipi experience

So this weekend I setup my paratipi, conditions were perfect for a trial run in the backyard. Over the weekend we had almost 3" of rain. Last night we had 1"+ of rain in less than an hour, pea sized hail, and 75mph winds. Unfortunately, I slept in the house to be ready to turkey hunt. Upon inspection, ground is dry underneath, tipi stayed upright, but one peg broke. Overall, I am ecstatic! The only downfall, my wife tells me the neighbors don't appreciate the redneck in the backyard tent. Oh well!
