Having gone through this for years, here's 2 cents of mine.
Don't get hung up on Low Light, doesn't sound like you are but don't.
Do look at the drop tests. Trijicon, NF, and S&B, and March. Even though I LOVE swaros and never had a problem and I WOULD USE them on a dream rifle, can't argue with lot's of anecdotal "drop tests."
DO go by reticle. Once the glass is "Good Enough" think Trijicon and up, and reliablilty is there, It's all about what you enjoy. If I don't like the reticle, the whole scope is a no-go.
You'll find after narrowing there are only a few that meet your critereia. I have one NF, one Trifincon, one Magnus, one S&B, and two March.
