If you are not one of the ones prepping you will be stuck without those items for a while. Like it or not someone will by all the TP and 5.56 ammo and in a month when you need to restock it won’t be on the shelf.
I predict not one FKN shot will be fired in defense of TP!

I'm buying as many shares of ETFs as I can afford. Also might stop by the liquor store to stock up on beer later.

Panicking is just as dumb as pretending nothing can ever happen.

This ^

How many people on this thread own a gun for home defense of carry concealed? I would guess that the statistics of the 20th century till now would support the notion that you are more likely to experience hunger due to shortage than need a firearm for defensive use.

I was not going to put in a full garden this year to put a big push on to finish the house. But it just seems prudent to go full monty due to the unknowns this year.

We are isolated where we live so we are usually stocked up anyhow. It's 70 miles round trip to the food store. You don't just run down for milk around here.

Working on some fencing for my dogs. Guess I'll need 45 fence posts, few hundred feet of woven wire and some staples. And maybe 2 cases of coors. Other than that looking pretty good really.

Freezers are all full of meat like always. In real news... it’s supposed to rain for the next 5 days straight. So no hunting or shooting 👎🏻

I do not get the buying a couple hundred rounds of ammo guys in relation to this situation...or really most situations. I have 1,000s of rounds because I shoot a lot. The same thing that is causing the toilet paper and sanitizer shortage caused the "ammo shortage" a few years ago...straight up panic buying.

With that said I will purchase nothing because we have enough food to last for a couple months, always have decent amount of meds, and my sanity.

I'm always looking to buy a new gun...

been wanting to get a pressure canner for a couple of years now so i thought, damn it, just get one. so i got an all american 21 quart. suits all the jars i already have for the water bath preserving we do for tomatoes and fruits.

having a freezer full of meat is nice until they turn the switch off. probably more energy efficient too. burn gas for 90 mins to process them vs electricity for 12 months to run the freezer.

I have a generator that can run my entire house and enough diesel fuel for it that it’s actually an illegal quantity in my awesome state.
Anyone who doesn’t own at least a small generator to power their freezer and fridge needs to look into it. Our power provider shut many of us off last summer for weeks at a time.
