Great stuff guys, thanks for posting all the pics.
I did one or two like this a while ago, but remember disliking the feel of the paint on the stock. It would feel plasticy and cheap. Any have a similar experience? Do different paints have a different feel?

Do you remember what colors you used for the rifle that has the bronze barrel and muzzle brake?

It's definitely been a while so I don't recall the specific brands/colors - the tan was an FDE and the gold was more of a metallic bronze. I bought a few cans and tested them out on some black buckets before I committed to actually applying it to the stock.

Simple single color on a Stockys VG for a Howa mini. Original bare carbon was way too glossy.

Sponge and several coats of matte clear coat looked much better.
