Got a new barrel on the nrl gun chambered in 6.5x47. A 16# (with bipod) 6.5x47 is kind of cheating.
Loaded up 150 rounds of fresh brass for initial firing and barrel break in. Ran a mandrel through necks to take dings out, no other brass prep (but it’s lapua). Modest loads with 135 CH, 140 hybrid target, 144 lrht, and 140 JLKs ahead of H4350. Intent is to use 144 LRHT once everything is broke in for easy power factor reaching.
Middle group is factory 6 creed from my hunting rifle. Corners are 1” stickers. 135 ch and 140 HT shot about the same. Anyone who says there’s no such thing as inherently accurate cartridges is wrong.
