Packing in a tree stand

Who here uses a pack/frame other than the Kifaru Stryker that can explain or show me some pics on how they secure everything to their pack? I just got the new xop stand and some helium sticks so I’m trying to figure out the best way to pack every thing. Tia

Used a few. Woodsman compression straps. Frame and grab-it with compression strap. 22mag.

I used my Rekoning to carry my hawk helium sticks last year. It has three compression straps that work well for cinching down whatever you want to put on the pack. You can see them here a little bit if you zoom in.

I’ve used two. Eberlestock X2, and it suuucked! Haha. I would haul my full stadium seat Millennium lock on and 5/6 sticks. Way too much for that pack, but at the time it felt better than carrying the stand and sticks without any pack. Here’s a few pics of that setup. Upgraded to a mystery ranch Pintler, same stand and 4 sticks with an aider. Much better. Don’t have any pics of that setup. I dropped the stand and went with a saddle last season and Lord willing I’ll never carry a stand in the woods again.

Here's my climber in the load shelf of my Mystery Ranch Metcalf. Sticks up above my head a little bit, but works great since this 'Ol Man model is so low profile.

And here's a hang on against the frame and Muddy Stagger Steps on the outside of the pack. Putting the lid over the sticks really helped keep them in place while hiking in.

I don’t have a pic but I attached Molle system shoulder straps and waist belt to my Lone Wolf. I think XOP makes something similar, but army surplus prices are hard to beat.

Use molle straps from amazon and use the stand as my “frame”

Bad pic, but I just strap my day pack and sticks to the stand and carry my bow. Thinking about going with the kifaru Stryker this year or the cheaper Eberlestock.

Lots of ways to pack a stand, I have also used a converted baby jogging stroller when it is e-z walking over smooth surfaces.
As far as steps go the Cranford rope steps are as light and less bulk than anything else, if you can get used to using them.

I second the cranford rope steps. My buddy owns the company and makes some awesome quality stuff.

I have the xop and it works well enough. It doesn’t weigh much and I have the quick disconnects so I use the same one for multiple set ups.

The xop quick hang bracket is very good and can be cam locked/stand can be offset with it.

Check for any rub spots on the frame too for whatever you use. I packed a LW climber in my Exp load shelf a few times and noticed it was rubbing on the fabric that covers the top of the frame. A strip of 100mph tape fixed the problem.

Get the XOP TSS and mod the seat for a shelf for your pack. YT has a bunch of stuff on there. The TSS is awesome.

Mystery Ranch Guidelight frame with mule bags carries my stand and sticks perfectly when needed. Most of the time i just carry the stand with the stock backpack straps and waist belt

Love the stagger steps but man are they heavy. But they are absolutely the most locked in steps I have ever used.

yeah 4# per stick vs 2.5# per Lone Wolf stick... but you can get 4 stagger steps for the price of one Lone Wolf so it was a no brainer for me.

I poo pooed them based upon weight and how low the price was thinking they had to be junk but my kids got them for me as a Christmas present a couple of years ago with a lone wolf stand. I was just simply blown away by how well they worked and now I am willing to carry that extra weight. They also lock against the Lone wold like they were made for it.
