How do you guys test fit with the order online packs. Kuiu, kifaru, MR, eberlestock. I’ve never seen these brands in a brick and mortar store. Not confident in ordering a pack online I’ve never tried on.

MR has a lot of retailers in the US, hopefully one near you? Check out their retailer locator on the website when you have a minute.

Unfortunately closest MR is 3 hrs away. I saw where cabelas carries eberlestock but selection looks really limited.

Some of these companies ask you your specs and set the pack remotely close upon shipping. Also, packs like Kifaru and Seek outside have options to order from that would allow you to customize the fit once receiving it. All the major brands have adjusting torso and pads to customize the lumbar pad fit, I swear man, way too much is made of this different brands fit so differently. Yes, some will fit better based on the frame dimension and belt make up. But, none are magical. If you get any of them adjusted correctly, you'll be happy.

I’ve dealt with Mystery Ranch with fitting the packs I have had from them. They have been very helpful over the phone on what sizes to get based on my measurements. What they suggested has always been spot on. I’m sure the other big companies are the same way but I can only speak for mystery ranch.

kifaru builds them for your measurements. takes awhile to get but you will be happy with the pack. super comfortable

Hutch- thanks for asking your question. I have same issue with remote location so I'm interested in others opinions.
