Pack recommendations

Looking at some options for all around good packs.
Big enough for 1-3 days
Small enough to pack without major inconvenience.

I just remembered that I listened to a Big Hunt Guys pod cast and I feel like they did a pretty good job breaking down packs, specifically Stone Glacier, Initial Ascent, Mystery Ranch, and Kifaru

I’ve used at least one pack from every major brand and I always come back to my mystery ranch pack. A couple of years ago I had one built for me, to go on my MR guidelight frame.

How committed are you to hauling heavy?

The Kifaru ARK 22" frame is a pretty good compromise of low-ish profile frame with BIG capability where it comes to load. Kifaru offers lots of choice where it comes to bags.

I really like the versatility of the Exo K3 bags, and I find the load crib thing very handy. Also the ease with which I can detach bag from frame to load/unload awkward stuff, and get the weight up high. Seems to help with walking more upright and not having to stoop over so much

4800 had been my go-to for a while, and I'll probably wear it out before I look for a change.

Yeah, just do a search. Seems to be a weekly topic. Lots of good info on here. Lots of good packs, If you have a chance try as many as you can.
