Anyone using a seperate "go pack" after setting up camp? I'm looking at a MR lid or Outdoorsmans Muley (or something along those lines) as a "day pack" instead of lugging my entire pack all day. The lid on my pack will attach to the waist belt as a fanny pack, but I'm not a huge fan.

Suggestions?

We offer a Day Talon with our pack line for this very reason. It acts as an organizational and compression pocket on the main pocket, but has its own harness so you can grab it and take only essentials when needed. It makes a pretty good trail running pack or day pack by itself.

Whats the "blaze pack cloth"? I guessing more like cotton/poly/canvas? Weigh the same as the others?

This is about where I'm at now. Like the idea of using it as a stuff stack for my quilt, a pillow, and a fly pack. Reckon yours will do the same..
