Looking for a pack suitable to carry a 22lb rifle for a field match I have coming up. I am leaning towards one with an external frame but would be open to options. Rifle carry does not need to be integrated, I would probably grab an OBI link system or similar. A way to secure the buttstock would be nice.
Looking to spend around $300 but would be open to spending more for a nice deal. Let me know what you have. I’m newer to this so any advice is appreciated.
