This is my first post on this site so why not start a conversation with a topic less talked about. I've been able to find very little good information online about specifically bowhunting black bears in Pennsylvania. A couple years ago I set a goal to tag a bear on public land and it proved to be much more difficult than I anticipated. I climbed trees in swamps, big oak patches and very thick vegetation but never managed to catch a glimpse of a bruin. I know they live in those areas since I found scat and prints. I would love to hear some tips and tactics to get into bear as purely an archery guy. For context, I'm hunting both WMUs along the Appalachian Trail east of Harrisburg. Extra context, I've been deer hunting almost 20 years so not a stranger to ambush hunting.
