Just picked up a Ozark MT longbow, 68" 50lbs. Quickly shot a couple arrows even before putting a nock point on. I'm digging it. To my eyes, its a good looking bow, but a cheapy. I've toyed with trad equipment in the past, but maybe this time I'll get serious about shooting it. Who knows. Fun as can be anyway. Do any of you shoot plastic fletching with trad gear? I have not and just curious about it. I'd assume you'd get better arrow flight with feathers.

Feathers are easiest for tunning. Standard plastic vanes will not work off the shelf.

However there are some trad specific vanes that can be shot off the shelf. I use TradVanes when I want to shoot plastic off the shelf. They work well.
