I fish on my own by trailering to either Oregon or Hatteras Inlet. Typically I have friends pitch in for gas/bait/ice. If you're local send me a PM.

Once again this weekend is another nasty blow so I'm making hunting plans for this fall.

Thank you and i'll keep that in mind. I'm on the other end of NC, but love the OBX. Years ago we took a guide out of Oregon Inlet name Rick Scarboro (Sp.) Just inshore, but awful nice guy.

Just got back from a 4 night outing on the Royal Star. Brian and the crew were great. Food was excellent; accommodations great and we caught quite a few fish.

When the blue fin hit, it was amazing. Averaged around 80 lbs with the largest at 130

I had to dig it up but this is the shark attack on my tuna on a 2005 trip. Tuna hit and then the fight got unreal only to find out I was pulling in the shark and tuna together. My buddy was able to click a pic thankfully.
