Overlooked hunts in the east

I’d like to try the PA flintlock season.
Meateater just did a podcast on it, so it will probably be overcrowded next year lol.
Tough hunt with a tough weapon. Pretty steep learning curve. Success rates will be similar to flatlanders going otc Co elk hunting for the first time!

The way the MD locals talk on their own Internet forums about this, you’d think Steve Rinella personally extirpated every last one of the sika deer, but I can assure you that there are still enough for quality public land hunting experiences.

You are right though, it’s a small area and will always be pretty niche. I think after most of the meateater inspired out of staters strike out and tell their buddies, the craziness might die down a little.
He does this to every hunt he films and plasters all over the place
