Overcoming Fainting at Injury?

Nursing student, and was just learning about this for starting IVs. It is a vasovagal response, and is a normal response for some. We didn't get into treatment for it. At least you know when it will come about and can either sit down or avoid traumatic injuries. If you are able treat it like shock and put your feet slightly above your heart.

"Slow is smooth, smooth is fast" or in this case safe.
