I currently have a OV Bino harness and i love the fit and function however the magnets arnt strong enough to hold itself shut with going up/down hills. I love the forward opening so i would like to stay with that, the magnets are a take or leave for me it doesn’t matter either way on that. What would be the closest fit and function to what i have now but with a better closing function? The marsupial gear appears to be the answer but would like to hear other opinions.

For reference im running 10x42el’s

The OV was my longest running bino harness. This year it has been replaced with a non-magnetic Marsupial, I have become a big fan of their gear. The fit of the OV harness was always problematic for me and the lack of autolocking buckles combined with the skinnier straps made me move on

I switched from OV to marsupial due to not wanting the mags because they messed with my phone compass. They make a magnet version also that I know gets great reviews.

same here... i still like the OV a lot, it was my favorite up until i got a marsupial, which i like more. the new gen 2 OV looks like a great harness too, more streamlined
