Outboard jet impeller suggestions?

Hey everyone I recently bought a river boat with a Yamaha 90/65 outboard jet.

It currently has a 4 blade stainless steel “D” pitch in it. I spoke with outboard jets and they suggested a 4 blade is to heavy and the D pitch is to much for a 90 hp?

I am looking for hole shot power and getting on step quicker with it being a river boat.

Wondering if anyone has experience and what impeller they recommend running? It also came with the factory 3 blade I am assuming. I will attach pics of both impellers

Sounds like a typical salesman speaking.
The 4 blade stainless is the best prop by far.

Here's how to tell if it has the correct pitch, for your setup.
1. Find the 'max rpm rating' for your motor.
2. Run the boat wide open throttle on calm water and check your rpms.

If your rpms are higher than the rating rpms, you need more pitch.
If your rpms are lower than the rating rpms, you need less pitch.
