OTC coming to an end in COLORADO???

All the ones I see on trailers around here are the 20k plus rigs. The trail version is nice for width restricted trails, but most people ignore trail regs anyways.

Yeah I see those as well being pulled by a $70k diesel or being hauled in a $80k toy hauler. Bet these are the same guys complaining about nonresident tag costs 😂

I am not blowing smoke man. I'm telling you economics will absolutely demand these results. You seem to think they don't apply in this situation.

They have so many untapped ways of generating revenue they could find ways of making up any lost revenue without charging residents 4K for a elk tag (which is laughable and WILL NOT happen)

Mandatory hunting license to apply @ 160.00 -+?
Application fees @ 20.00 +- per species?
Preference point fees @ 50.00-100.00+- per species?
Selling all leftover resident tags up to the cap to non-res @ non-res prices?

Just the license to apply and a preference point fee would generate HUGE revenue. Wild conspiracy theory here, but are they figuring out just what people are willing to pay with this years MSG draw? 3.00 last year, 50.00-100.00 this year to see just how much the numbers drop vs the 3.00 app fee. They have already established the baseline on how many apps they have the potential of getting.
