Beaver diameter largest 31x22. Smallest 28x21. Otter from nose to base of tail. ( not includuding tail 30x35 inches. When you put up fur it's boarded and stretches. Then shrinks some after tanning.

I’m going bump this because I love it. I love beaver pelts. Those otter are beautiful.
Moyle tannery does a great job on the hides. Leather side's are soft. Historically northern Minnesota beaver hides brought a good price and Top Lot at NAFA (NOrth American fur auction). Unfortunately in bankruptcy. Fur usually darker brown than western . If you trap your own moyle usually charges 33$ for a beaver and 35$ for an otter. One last thing. I know this is a " classified site" . If given the opportunity check out FORT WILLIAM IN THUNDER BAY ONTARIO. history of fur trade and voyager s

I knew there had to be a few fellow trappers lurking around RS. Beautiful fur. Finally caught my first otter here in MT a couple years ago. Not something you find on every river here. Having it mounted 😊
