With the end of the year donation season upon us, what are some good organizations to donate to that fight for hunters? I know there is HOWL, are there any others?

Don't say RMEF...Here is a public chart I found of 2023 compensation...Not donating to an org that pays their non-profit CEO 700K.

Pheasants forever
Quail forever
TRCP
NTA - National Trappers Association. Zero fluff in that organization

This is a good idea. I'm going to join a couple more orgs myself now.

I would look at who helped defeat Prop 127 in Colorado. The national organizations that got behind CRWM would be my first stop. They see the real threat to hunting, anti hunting activists, and they were active in trying to stop them. I wouldn’t get too wrapped up in how much they pay their leadership, that is likely just a reflection of how large (or small) they are. That being said you may want to seek out a smaller org because they may be more responsive to the requests of their members. No right or wrong answer, just pick one you like. As hunters we have to be active and engaged. That is most important.

I'm with you on RMEF....they have gotten too full of themselves.

I'm a life member of SCI. They have horsepower and are still one of the best due to the big money hunters supporting their lobbying and Actions in Court to sue and stop a lot of this crap.

I need to look at HOWL...sounds like my kind of outfit
