Oregon winter backpacking trip

Anyone after late season interested in a a few winter backpacking trips? I used to go all the time then , not sure what happened but would like to go again! Will travel!

Heck yeah we used to do one every year to test new gear. I am sure myself and trk3263 would love to go. Were both in central oregon but can travel

I'm in Molalla. I'm open to the idea of a weekend adventure, and I can usually drag my crazy brother along. We have spent too much time away from work to go on long trips. We will be available December(ish). Trade in the gun for my big camera.

I am up in Western Washington and would be willing to come down to some winter hiking in Oregon. I lived there for a few years and thoroughly enjoyed the central Oregon area.

Watching with interest. Explain this winter backpack camping thing.
I mean, do you backpack in on snowshoes and do the snow cave thing,
or is this more of a tent on snow thing?

I do a winter rendevous w/ some other predator hunters, but it's more of a wall tent & stove affair.
