Oregon Spring Black Bear Hunt with the boys

Took the boys out of school for a few days and made the trip north to eastern OR to chase bears, fish, shoot ground squirrels and visit with some good friends. We had a great trip and the boys got to see a ton of animals (elk, deer, CA bighorn sheep, turkeys). The bear hunting was slow but the boys hung in there and finally on the 4th evening we found our first and only bear, but dad made the shot count. First black bear for me and a trip I will not soon forget.
