Kuiu reached out to me before I had a chance to call them. I guess they're a fan of rokslide.

He offered to make it right and ship out new gear. I told them I was fine with a few hairs/grass and thanked him for the great customer service.

Oh, he did confirm that not all of their gear has tags. Only items with specialized material like Cordura or Quizdown has tags.

A+ customer service.

I just received 2 Sitka Jetstream jackets from Black Ovis. One had tags and one didn't. Couldn't figure that one out unless it was a display model that someone tore the tags off. Looks new however.
