Seek Talon, useful on a pack bag, even more so once I have dropped the bag for the second pack out.

I have and use an orange crib panel from Exo, which it looks like they don't make any more but it's similar to the Kifaru grabit in function. I typically leave it attached to my pack between the bag and frame until I'm hauling meat. That keeps it out of the way for opening pockets etc. while hunting. The rest of the time I use the orange aglow panel and really like having it for the added orange during rifle season. It weighs nothing and I can still access pockets easily with it on. Good combo for me.

Seems like I'm in the minority but I have never worried about it.

There are two reasons that I worry about it myself. First, I don't want some idiot shooting at movement in the woods without confirming what it is. Especially since I normally wear brown pants. Second, if I am wearing a backpack covering my required blaze orange, I'm probably not abiding by state regulations for visible orange. The definition can be interpreted however you would like, but you won't finish any better than second in an argument with a game officer having a bad day.

I tie a mil-surp VS17 panel to the back of my pack. Plenty big to cover the back of a Marshall or Metcalf sized pack, uses 550 cord at the corners so no need to find a commercial product that will work with your particular pack. I think it cost me like $10 and it came new in the wrap.

Here's what I shared in a similar thread a while back:

Take a close look at Orange Aglow vests and pack panels. I just purchased the camo blaze vest and two pack panels and am impressed with the quality - especially for the low price point. Previously, I looked at the MR Blaze Stick It panel but realized I simply needed visibility, light weight (with material that dries quickly)....with the added benefit of low cost. I was able to purchase the vest and two panels for the equivalent price of the MR Blaze Stick It.

Worth a visit and the customer service from David is stellar:

You sold me. 2 for ~$15 shipped. Easy decision

Yup orange aglow user here, packs down small and weighs nothing so it’s always in my pack even during archery.

$1.95 orange vest is a hard price to beat.

Price will be hard to beat, but it won't be as convenient attaching it to your pack as an orange aglow panel, which really only costs a few bucks more. Either one will serve the purpose of adding orange.

For Christmas last year, I went to a site that sold the lightweight face masks and they had a special running. I got them as gifts for everyone and when I made the order I got one for me in hunter orange. If you search for SA facemasks you will see the site. I think they called it "tactical orange". I figured I could throw it in my pack, use it for warmth if necessary, or stick it on my pack if I need an orange foot print. I havent tried to do it yet, but I think it could also be slid around the guide lid if it wasn't packed too full. I like the idea of it having multiple purposes. I also throw around the idea of an orange "Sherman pocket" for my bag, or the grab it. I have an old orange vest that has me thinking I could sew it into the back of my camo grab it. Always looking for good ideas for multi purpose gear!!

Orange aglow panel and a blaze talon are what we have and choose depending on what we are doing. I do like the padded seat above though.
