Options for best 1x muzzy scope?

I am running 1x scope now and have thought about trying either a vortex red dot or aimpoint scope, but have not had any problems with the scope to warrant the switch and have other things higher on the list to spend money on.

I looked through Sabotloaders peep system this last weekend and it "acts" as a 1x scope. Pretty impressive. I don't have my notes on the exact system but he'll post up I'm sure. Looks like I'll be ordering it for my gun this year.

What is peep system is he using? Id love to look into getting a great peep system.

From some of Sabotloaders posts, he has several guns and different peeps so it depends on what gun you have relative to what peep will fit it. I have a couple Lyman 57 model peeps which have turrets that can help dial in different ranges. That said, I've not had a chance to shoot with them yet this summer but plan to in August. Williams also makes peeps but I think the Lymans were a little more versatile. There are other mfgs as well but Lyman and Williams seem to be the most popular just from my searches.
