Optic recommendation for 7mm 08

Looking at purchasing a GPO CENTURI scope for a 7mm 08 rifle.
I have a choice of a 2.5-15x44 or a 3-18x44.

What would you all recommend?

The difference between the 2.5 & 3, if less than 50 yards, will be more significant than the difference between 15 & 18 at 500 yards

If wanting to shoot game out past 400 yards, I would personally go with the 3-18x44

Why GPO? Just curious. Once I realized their deceptive marketing practices they were struck off my short list!

No experience with the models you recommended but I would be highly cautious of a 18x mag SFP scope. That much mag in SFP is doing more harm than good!

Price point. I can grab either scope for @ $500 and their features at this price point are pretty incredible
