Opinions/options on canvas tent with stove in the center

I’l really like the thought of the stove in the center for even warmth and just wanted to see what other’s experience is and what other models I may be missing. Usually 3 or 4 of us sharing camp. Looking through Rokslide I’ve found the following:

I have the 12x12 Ellis Prairie with the stove close to the center and it works well. 3 cots is doable, not 4.

I have a couple yurt type tents and a couple wall tents, all of them are canvas. They all have stove jacks, the hurts pretty close to center, the wall tents in a corner. They all work well.

If it's exceptionally cold, like below zero, you can feel the chill in any of them if the stove burned down and only has coals. But it's never been enough to wake me. But then, I typically wake a couple times every night (even at home); I simply refill the stove with wood when I wake, open the damper to get it going well, then reset the damper and go back to sleep.

The biggest issue to me is a tent rain cover with a stove jack to keep the canvas dry if it rains.

Yeah the reason I like those models with the stove in the center is usually the guy closest to the stove is roasting while the furthest is freezing. Nothing beats a wood stove for sleeping good.

I’ve used the 11x11 amd 14x14 Shackletons with 3 and a stove down into the negatives and it was comfortable for everyone. It works great for 3, not ideal with 4 but I think you could fit a cot partially in front of the door and make it work

I have an Atuk Kanguk 12x22 canvas tent. Stove in center is best for heating since there is more pipe inside the tent. A lot of winter campers go with Snowtrekker, but the stove is off to the side, and most of the pipe is outside (the main reason I didn't bother with this tent).

No pics of my setup, but a lot on yootoob. Search Atuk Kanguk 12x12.
I can fit two large cots (wall length is about 8 ft.) with stove, gear and wood. Without cots, I have had four adults with stove, gear and wood.
The wall height of mine is 42" (standard is 36"). My stove is 22x12x12.

I have the roamin home nomad. I've very happy with it. Sets up easy, I like the layout with the front having a large peak. Packs down small to fit in the truck or on the horses. I've had traditional wall tent in the past. They are amazing once set up. But they can take a while to set up and take down. The roamin home i can set it up solol in 20 minutes. Currently living in mine for the last two months in hunting season.
