Opinions on Tikka T3X vertical grip accessory

Out of the folks who have tried this accessory what are your impressions? I have one on order and was just wondering if, they are an improvement or not. I've also been looking at the beavertail for ends. I have a trigger spring on the way also. Thanks Folks!

I like the vertical grip on mine. I like the feel of the forend better without the beavertail, and also the weight saved from not using it

Beaver tail- didn’t care for it, just added weight and not much else. Love the vertical grip.

I’ve never tried the never tail but I have the vertical grip on all 3 of my tikkas.

Every Tikka I have in a factory stock has the vertical grip. It makes shooting and handling the rifle much better in my opinion.

Never tried the fore end piece

I like the vertical grip and have it on both of my Tikka's.

100% vertical grip, easier to shoot the rifle and easier to carry the rifle too.

I have smaller hands and I didnt like the vertical grip at all. Didn't improve my shooting and made the rifle harder to hand hold while hiking.

All my Tikkas have vertical grips and none have the beaver tail.

Vertical is best from a bench or prone. I don’t like it for a walking rifle where shots are from a standing position.

It feels nice at the range but feels crap when hunting I don’t use it on a carry rifle anymore

If you keep the factory stock, vertical grip is a must. In my opinion
