Opinions on Kuiu Divide 2000

I'm planning for a elk hunt and need a day pack. As this is a horseback hunt, mostly i just need to carry water, raingear, box of ammo and a few other essentials. I'm thinking 2000 ci because I'll need the ability to carry layers If I shed them throughout the day. This is my first mountain hunt. Anyone run this day pack? Thoughts?

I have the venture divide 3000. Used on on a horseback hunt for 8 days. The pack was a bit long for me for sitting in the saddle, I should have gotten the 2000 Cubic inch version. The layout was good, pocket locations were good and the pack was comfortable to wear. Quality was very good, no complaints. I ended up adding a padded pocket to the outside for a spotter. I would buy it again, in 2000 cubic inches !
