Just thought I’d see what the guys that aren’t Mathews leg humpers thought of the other bows realeased?

Disclaimer: totally joking😂😂but I was surprised they hadn’t been mentioned yet.

Didn’t seem like anything that crazy on the Hoyt side either.

Nice tuning feature, the most durable bows, though I have never broken one. Unfortunately the Mathews are lighter, faster and quieter than the Hoyt, small amounts of course but it is what it is.

I have no brand loyalty to anyone so it is fun to watch the minions grasp onto their brands!

I will be glad to shoot my friends when he buys both, and then I still smash em on the 3d course all summer with old Bowtech's!

1500/1600 new at my local shop for the aluminums... are people really buying new bows every year? turn around and try and sell and its lost a quarter of its value speeds have plateaued too for 15 years I don't get it

I used to buy multiple every year, but I worked a shop and got them for cost!

I know a guy at the club that buys three or four a year, when I’m ready to buy a “new” bow I will get one of his!

I don't think most people are buying bows every year. But there a lot of people in this world and I'm sure many are looking to buy this year.

I'm not brand loyal with bows. I like to try them all and seek perfection for specific roles. I love my daughter's Hoyt Kobalt. Regarding this year's Hoyt release, I'm glad to see they added tuning. That said, on paper, they are heavier, slower, and more expensive that the competition. So they better damn well shoot!

I will say after playing around with Hoyt's bow builder and clicking around on their website, they make some great looking bows. I may have to at least go test an RX10.

Does that kobalt stay tuned well? Been looking for the right starter bow to get my daughter. Any downfalls to it?

I think it's a great starter bow. Feels good, shoots good, looks good, durable. Easy to work on. Acceptable draw stops (very important on a kids bow). The one downfall I can think of is I remember the geometry limiting rest choices. But I can't remember the specifics. I know I couldn't use a micro adjust Whisker Biscuit Pro. I had to use the Wal-Mart Quick Shot.

But I haven't "tuned" it. She's just shooting it through a whisker biscuit and making good shots on 3D targets. She hasn't shot any broadheads. The truth is, she's growing so fast and getting stronger so quickly, I've had a hard time keeping DL and DW where it needs to be. Unfortunately I think she will outgrow it before next hunting season when she will be ready. I knew this would happen but I intended for it to go to her little brother. But he needs a lefty!

I wanted an AX2 last year. Didn’t do it. Really want the AX3 now. Probably won’t. I have a basement I need to finish first. I’ll keep shooting my 2012 carbon element I’m sure.

Going to order the RX10 Ultra tomorrow. I'd rather shoot an 8 year olds homemade bow out of stick and string than own a Mathews. Just saying.
