I'll need to look into that, thanks for the input. Can you do this on an iOS device? If you go to My Content you can filter what waypoints are visible.
I have read about Spartan but have not played around with it. Sharing way point has become such a important part of my hunting, switching applications may not work.Any Basemap users? When I compared, I didn't see much difference.
Onyx seems to have gone the "influencer" route now. High price with the added appeal of discounts from gear makers.
What about Spartan Forge?
I have an Android, but it shouldn't matter. Just click My Content, then Waypoints, then Select and you can choose what waypoints you want to remove from the map view. You can even hide all of them if you want.I'll need to look into that, thanks for the input. Can you do this on an iOS device?
Post a screenshot real quick so I can see what your problem is…

Yes to this. I'd imagine there would be a way to use inreach to achieve #2.The folders more or less accomplish what you want. The problem is that if you hunt a smaller, dense area a lot—like around my home—you wake up one day with several thousand tracks and waypoints. Yes, putting them in a folder would help, but now the issue is that its not possible to select more than one waypoint at a time to add to a folder. So its more or less not happening until they add functionality to shift/click or control/click a hundred waypoints at a time, and simultaneously add all of them to a folder. That’s my #1 wishlist item.
#2 is being able to share locations with a hunting partner (or add a device to a dog) so you can see all of your hunting partners locations on the map at the same time (without cell service!)
If you tap the icon at the top of the screen it will enter ‘full map’ mode and you can pan around without stuff popping up.I wish for a way to navigate and move the screen with your finger without a screen showing who owns the property popping up without turning the property layer off.
If you tap and then tap and hold, you can drag your finger up and down to zoom. So tap-tap to zoom in but then tap-tap/hold to zoom with your fingerI wish there was a little zoom out button in bottom left corner for when using 1 handed. You can double tap to zoom in but have to use two hands to zoom back out.
You my man , are a FREAKING genius! If you tap the icon at the top of the screen it will enter ‘full map’ mode and you can pan around without stuff popping up.

I’d like to be able to navigate to a specific set of coordinates while out in the field. My buddy sends me his coords via inReach and I’ve only been able to estimate where he’s at. I wanna type in specific numbers and get a specific spot. The search feature only works with a cell signal from what I’ve found.
I just turned my phone to airplane and was able to input coordinates , works fine on mine. Be aware that the input needs to be in the correct format as in 40.38949,-123.51183 it needs the period, comma, minus sign . yes that the location of my cabin. I take Google Earth numbers and input all the time, OnX does not support the last digit as in Google goes to the 6th digit while OnX only goes to the 5th.If you tap the icon at the top of the screen it will enter ‘full map’ mode and you can pan around without stuff popping up.

Maybe I had my format wrong.Search function works with coordinates without having service. Coordinates only, can’t search landmark names.
